Nate Smith

I'm currently serving in the Kingdom as the executive pastor and CGCC-West site pastor and am blessed to be in partnership with a great team of shepherd leaders in our church.

The people who know me best say that I had much more hair 10 years ago.

Many people don't know that God’s country is Iowa, not Indiana.

My favorite way to unwind is spending quality time with my wife and kids. The best is a fried chicken dinner (chicken, mashed potatoes, green beans and apple pie ala mode) followed by relaxing conversation with my wife on the deck behind our house.

I experience pure joy when I am passionately engaged in loud and vibrant musical worship (Psalm 98).

Brief overview - Nate met his wife, Carolyn, during the early stages of Common Ground in 1996 and they are blessed to have three children: Kylie, Zach and Luke. Nate and his family are involved with a house church on the west side of Indianapolis and enjoy the fellowship and friendship of their community.
