Network Overview
We started Common Ground Christian Church believing that if we could get people to meet Jesus, He would change their lives. Our desire was to establish our church community in such a way that people could encounter the resurrected Lord in authentic community with others who longed for that same transformative encounter.

Ten years later we find ourselves in a very interesting place. We have a network of ~50 house churches and four weekend worship gatherings spread across two different sites. Yet, we are wondering if we are not in danger of becoming a church that gets in the way of people meeting Jesus, not because of what we are doing but rather how our model of church is expanding across the city.

After months of prayer and assessment, we’ve been convicted that our philosophy of church gets applied everywhere except in our corporate gatherings. We are wondering if we might be better positioned to live into our mission with multiple voices of leadership in smaller and geographically focused sites that have dedicated pastoral oversight.

We've assembled a proposal for how we might achieve our philosophy of replication in our corporate gatherings in Indianapolis. Interested in learning more? We encourage you to read this document which reveals more about why this vision is important and our current thoughts regarding implementation.
