Common Ground Christian Church Staff

Jeff Krajewski is the lead pastor. The inspiration for Common Ground came out of Jeff's desire to take the relevant and timeless message of Jesus and present it in a way that answers the questions that people are asking. Jeff tackles this challenge each and every week, most visibly through the inspiring, conversational sermons he shares with Common Ground's congregation at Sunday's worship services. Doug Collins is the pastor of administration and church ministries. Doug's job is to ensure that the operations of the church are as effective and efficient as possible. He oversees the facility, budgeting process, computer network, and the processes necessary for the operation of the church office. His church ministries duties include ensuring Common Ground's leaders understand how the ministries they are involved with support the mission of the church. Email: doug@cground.org

 

Nate Smith is the site pastor for the west side. As site pastor, Nate oversees logistics and ministry connected with Common Ground on the west side of Indianapolis. In addition, he works closely with the west side elders to facilitate shepherding and discipling within the collection of house churches that are connected with the west side site. Email: nate@cground.org

 

Adam Nevins is the pastor of worship and arts. Adam is responsible for all aspects of worship and arts including the Sunday services, special events, and cultivating artists within a Christian framework. Email: adam@cground.org

 

Marissa Rowe is the director of communication and events.  Marissa coordinates and oversees the church's communication, and provides planning and logistical support for most events that take place in the church building.  Email: marissa@cground.org

Shawn VanDerAa is the office administrator, and is really the glue that holds the office together. In addition to providing administrative support for each of the pastors, Shawn coordinates and oversees the scheduling of weddings, Baby Dedication and provides general support to our members. Martina Gaughan is the director of children's ministry.  She oversees the teachers and ministry of our children on Sundays.  Martina plays a vital role in strategically implementing children's ministry into the house church gatherings. Email: martina@cground.org

 

Stefanie Essig is the church bookkeeper. She processes the weekly offerings, oversees the payroll processes, and ensures that all invoices and bills are paid in a timely manner. Stef also participates in the annual budgeting process and administers the health insurance for the staff. Email: stef@cground.org
