To come alongside parents, the following resources are available to assist in the spiritual nurture of children:
Parent pages are provided to inform you of what happened in class on Sunday so that you can review and go deeper during the week. We encourage you to talk about these things during car time, bath time, play time and snuggle time.
2s & 3s – Each week a summary of the story is provided on the back of the child’s coloring page. We encourage you to retell the story with your child and ask them about their favorite parts.

House church offers the opportunity to pursue Jesus in a more authentic and intimate community. In this community we worship God, learn from the Scriptures and the Holy Spirit, ask questions, discover and use our spiritual gifts and serve one another and the world around us. We encourage each house church to carefully consider how children and their families are nurtured within their community. A Guide to Discussing Children’s Ministry with your house church and resource ideas are available here.
Family devotions are an intentional time set aside when families can engage in reading the Bible, prayer and various other activities that will help the family grow closer to God and each other. A simple plan for starting family devotions is available here. A devotional guide for summer is available on our Seasons of the Church Year page.
Training and Equipping classes are offered quarterly and provide parents ways to help their children grow in the ways of the Lord. Information about upcoming training and equipping classes will be provided during our Sunday gatherings, in our bulletins and is available here.
Seasonal resources are provided to help your family engage during special seasons of the church year like Advent and Lent, as well as other seasons of the year.
Additional resources are available that you can utilize as you aim to disciple your children. Please know that these aren’t the answers, but simply resources that we’ve found beneficial and wanted to share with you.
