West Vision Trip - 2017
WHERE: ChinAndega, Nicaragua
TRIP DATES: June 16-23, 2017
Application/deposit deadline: March 26, 2017
PURPOSE: Partner with CG West partners Ron and Marty Read and their work with Vision Nicaragua (VN) and their focus to serve the spiritual, physical and financial needs of the people of Nicaragua. The team will join with the project staff in serving the church and developing ministries in the area surrounding ChinAndega. Specific projects may include helping to pour the slab for the village church building that CG West is helping to fund, leading a VBS, and helping to distribute food to strengthen the relational connection between VN and nearby economically impoverished villages.
COST: The estimated cost of the trip is $1,700 (this is an approximate cost and trip cost may vary slightly depending on airline ticket prices). Don't let finances keep you from applying or pursuing the trip opportunity. Financial assistance is available for Vision Trip participants who regularly attend Common Ground, and the request form can be found on the Vision Trip Resources page.

WHO MAY APPLY: All CG West attenders of appropriate age*. The minimum team size is six members and the trip will be canceled if the minimum size is not reached. *This is a family-friendly trip and children 9 and up may participate if accompanied by a parent.
