We believe God is active in the world, drawing people to Himself from every tribe, tongue, and nation. From God's promise to Abraham that his descendants would be a blessing to all nations, to Jesus' command to go into all the world in His name, we believe God's intent is that those who love and follow Him would witness to the world of the reality and goodness of God. Whether here in Indianapolis, or on the other side of the globe, our hope is that each person at Common Ground would be inspired, equipped, and released to share the good news of Jesus, and to show what life in His Kingdom is like.
We have endeavored to provide opportunities and resources to encourage active exploration and engagement with what God is doing in the world. We invite you to explore the resources listed below as you take steps in understanding and pursuing the unique way God has crafted you to love and serve the world around you.

Jessica Evans: Purchased
The mission of Purchased is to empower the community to end modern-day slavery. Purchased organizes and hosts events to raise awareness and educate people about modern day slavery, and inspires them to join in the abolition movement.
Purchased strives to empower people to become advocates themselves and collaborates with organizations for survivor support.
We love supporting Purchased, its staff, and its founder, Jessica Evans.
Center for Global Impact
Center for Global Impact (CGI) seeks to bring the Good News of Jesus to those in the grip of poverty and bondage. We do this practically by providing a pathway out of poverty through education, vocational training and business development. Primarily working in Cambodia, many of those we serve are victims of — or vulnerable to — human trafficking.
For more information about CGI, please check out their website.
Safe Families for Children is a movement fueled by compassion to keep children safe and families intact. Through Host Families, Family Friends, and Family Coaches, Safe Families temporarily host children and provide a network of support to families in crisis while they get back on their feet.

Ron & Marty Read: Vision Nicaragua
Vision Nicaragua is a non-profit, multi-denominational Christian organization, whose purpose is to make known and serve the spiritual, physical, and financial needs of the people of Nicaragua.
Ron Read has been working with Vision Nicaragua since 2009. Ron and his wife Marty have been married over 30 years and they have been involved with young adult/student ministry and missions for over two decades.
Ron has been working in international manufacturing, business development, and executive business leadership for over 30 years and he brings that experience to Vision Nicaragua. His role is to help develop businesses that will provide alternative job opportunities for the men outside of the sugar cane fields. Ron travels to Nicaragua frequently to help them in the growth of these businesses and to build relationships and mentor these men on a spiritual level using biblical principles to manage businesses.

Deer Run Elementary: Community Partner
On Sunday mornings, Deer Run Elementary School is the place where Common Ground West comes to gather, worship, and pray. We consider them our local Community Misson Partners in the Indianapolis area.
We are so grateful for the way the people at Deer Run have partnered with us and shared space with us over the years. We prioritize investing in and caring for the incredible teachers, children, and surrounding neighborhood.
The West Mission Team is a group of people with a passion to see our church empowered to fulfill her missional calling of joining with God in the restoration of the world through sacrificial love. Through monthly gatherings and ongoing involvement with various local and global missions activities, the team seeks to encourage, equip, and release individuals at Common Ground West to understand and pursue their missional callings.
Please email the West Missions Team with questions related to the West area church ministry partners or anything else missions related.
