Matt was led to Christ by his father at the age of four and has been involved in the church ever since. He began to take ownership of his faith during high school which culminated in attending Passion '99 and a Campus Crusade for Christ mission trip to Slovakia the following summer. Both experiences taught Matt the importance of worship in the church and on missions to gain perspective on God's calling for all people to be formed in the image of Christ.
Matt grew up in Houston, TX and moved to Indiana in 2002 after meeting his wife, Amy. They began attending Common Ground soon after they were married and have the privilege of raising four children on the Northwest side of Indianapolis. Matt has worked in the software technology business since 2006. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his family cooking, working around the house, and playing games with his kids.
