What is calling?
The apostle Paul says in Ephesians 2:10 that “we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”  In other words, we are each uniquely made by God in order to have an impact in the world we live in. Another way of defining calling is to say, “calling accomplishes something in the world and completes something in us.”

What is a mission group?
A mission group is a place where people join with a few others who share a commitment to God’s call on their lives to do some particular kind of transforming work in the world.

What is the next step?

  • Calling - If you are interested in discovering your calling, please register for the Explore Your Calling T&E on October 15, 22, 29 at 9:00 - 10:15 AM. Register here.

  • Mission Group - If you know your calling and want to connect with other like-minded people at CG Midtown, please click here to submit a form with your mission group idea. A mission group will form once 2-3 people align around a specific calling. Click here for more information on the mission group process.

Trying to understand your core passions and how they are meant to impact the world around you can be both exciting and stressful. Fortunately, guided conversations and reflections can help take the mystery out of this process and help you discover and deploy your God-given calling.

If you're interested in learning more, join us for our latest Training & Equipping: Explore Your Calling. Over the course of three Sunday mornings (Mar. 3, 10, & 17), we will work together to discover your personal calling. Refreshments will be provided. Register now.
