We believe every person is invited to be on mission with God. At CG Midtown, we understand our congregational invitation is to, “Join with God in the reconciliation of the world through sacrificial love in the way of Jesus.” We join with God in the following ways:

These three categories influence the selection of our mission partners, mission trips, and volunteer opportunities. Additionally, the mission team seeks to encourage, equip, and release individuals at Common Ground Midtown to understand and pursue their missional callings.

Circle City Fellows
At Circle City Fellows, we believe God’s people are meant to do the work of God in the space where they spend the bulk of their time—their workplace.

MLK Center
At the MLK Center, everyone has the opportunity to learn, play, grow, and find peace. By embracing the teachings and philosophies of civil rights leader Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., the MLK Center provides vital individual skills and family resources that allow residents in the Mid-North neighborhoods of Indianapolis to grow and enhance their lives. Their approach helps people of all ages find—and remain on—their own paths to success and stability. Dr. King believed that conflicts can be resolved peacefully. In a committed Beloved Community, conflict ends with reconciliation of adversaries cooperating in a spirit of mutual respect and goodwill. The MLK Center works to make this possible in our culture.

PATH International (formerly Otino Waa)
PATH International’s mission is to provide education, nourishment and care to orphaned and vulnerable children in northern Uganda through the love of Jesus Christ.

YFC Lebanon
YFC in Lebanon is one of the most active organizations participating in youth work in Lebanon. Our ministry is known for its camps, clubs, and presence on school campuses. Over the years, we have also been training hundreds of youth leaders who serve in churches.

At Common Ground Midtown, we partner with some individuals and couples, helping to support the ministry work they do.

Mission Team
The mission team is a group of people with a passion to see our church empowered to fulfill her missional calling of joining with God in the restoration of the world through sacrificial love.

Mission Trips
At Common Ground Christian Church, we believe that God is on mission in the world, drawing people to Himself from every tribe, tongue, and nation. And, we believe that we, as His followers, are invited to join Him in that mission, as witnesses to the world of the reality and goodness of God.

Mission Groups
A mission group is a place where people join with a few others who share a commitment to God’s call on their lives to do some particular kind of transforming work in the world.

Faith Beyond Four Walls
The church is meant to be “outward-facing.” To help us achieve that more tangibly, we created Faith Beyond Four Walls (FBFW) as an opportunity for our congregation to reframe what it means to be the church in the world and to love others.
