Welcome to Common Ground Midtown
Our church is made up of people who are seeking God's will together in community by devoting themselves to God and living on mission in their families, neighborhoods and workplaces. We invite you to join us on that journey.

CG Men: Breaking Barriers
Our upcoming gatherings will continue to explore our theme for our church this year, Finding Common Ground: Removing Barriers.
One of the barriers that has existed within pockets of the church in North America is around the topic of gender and how men and women can and should participate in the body of Christ. During our gathering, we'll explore this concept of our common identity as children of God and discuss how gender biased leadership can create barriers and how those barriers affect Common Ground as a spiritual family.
Ash Wednesday • March 6 • 6:30pm
Join us for a special Ash Wednesday service to begin the Lenten season. Children's ministry available for nursery and 2s+3s on a first-come, first-served basis. (All ages welcome in service.)
No registration necessary!
Distributed Potluck: Calling All Hosts!
Our 2019 vision — finding common ground — calls on all of us to break down the barriers that keep us, and keep each other, from encountering Jesus. One of those barriers is simply knowing other Midtowners, and truly feeling a sense of community among our church family.
On Saturday, April 13, starting around 5:00 p.m., we'll take one big swing at knocking down that barrier with our first-ever Distributed Potluck event.
For one evening, hosts will welcome other Midtowners into their home to share a meal together. Our hope is that many, if not all, of the people will be "strangers" — that this gathering will be when the first real conversations happen.
