Flood Response & Relief Efforts
Supporting Our Community
Almost three weeks ago, the Ravenswood neighborhood in Indianapolis was significantly impacted by flooding from the White River. More than 900 homes suffered water damage, affecting thousands of residents. This week, Phase 1 of the recovery effort (the removal of debris and muck from damaged homes) is nearing completion.
As the community moves into the next phase of recovery, CG Midtown has been invited to serve alongside other Midtown congregations in support of the Ravenswood Community Group.
An upcoming opportunity to help:
Faith Beyond Four Walls: Saturday, September 19, 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM: We will assist flood-affected residents whose lawn mowers were damaged by mowing their lawns. We’ll work alongside Ravenswood volunteer coordinators, who will direct us to homes that need assistance. Register HERE.
