Flood Response & Relief Efforts
Supporting Our Community
We are partnering with other churches in the Midtown community to help our neighbors devastated by recent flooding. By sharing resources and working together, we can respond more effectively to the needs around us. Here are a few ways you can help:
Partnering with St. Luke’s UMC
We are partnering with St. Luke’s UMC. Their pastor is a friend of CG Midtown, and their church is actively serving many people in our community affected by the flooding. Visit their website to learn more about current needs, ways to help, and opportunities to give.
Volunteer in the Ravenswood Neighborhood
We are also sharing updates from the Ravenswood community, where neighbors are communicating real-time needs and ways people can help. Current opportunities include sorting donations at Glendale Christian Church and helping with cleanup efforts (with check-in at Riverwood Park). Visit the Ravenswood Community Group Facebook page for the latest information.
Give to the CG Midtown Flood Fund
We established a designated fund to assist Common Ground Midtown congregants affected by the flooding. If you would like to give toward this need, you can do so by clicking here.
We will continue to update this page as we learn more about ongoing needs and opportunities to provide support.
