We are thrilled to announce that Midtown has hired Dave and Emily Burford to serve as co-worship pastors. They will serve our church in the unique ways that God has gifted them to be lead worshippers of Him. 

Emily has been in a regular rotation of leading worship on Sundays and her heart is for celebratory, expressive worship of the God who created us for such praise. Emily is a real estate professional most days, but will now be seen on a more regular basis up front on Sundays leading us into the heart of praise. 

Dave is a musician at heart with an excitement for organizing God-given musical talent to bring about a space and time on Sundays when people can encounter God through music. Dave will take over much of the behind the scenes administration for our worship bands and vocalists, but you might also catch a glimpse of him on the drum set from time to time.

The Burfords were married at Common Ground in 2010 and enjoy life together with their almost 3-year old son Judah. Please join us in welcoming Dave and Emily to the CG staff.

All area churches, friends and family are invited to join us for a night of worship from 5-7 pm on Sunday, May 21 in the Midtown Sanctuary. Childcare is not provided, but we encourage families to worship together. We hope you will join us!
