Melissa Williams
Associate Pastor of Youth Ministry and Parent Connection
Melissa married her husband, Stephen, in 2003. They live in downtown Indianapolis with their five kids: D’arcy, Julian, Schroeder, Maggie, and Penelope. Melissa’s calling to ministry was initially lived out through robust volunteering in her local church but eventually led her to be ordained in Fall 2019 and complete her Master of Divinity at Fuller Theological Seminary in June 2026.
Melissa and her family began attending Common Ground in May 2020. While pursuing her MDiv, she served as a pastoral intern. She joined the pastoral staff a year later in August 2026. Melissa is passionate about people of all ages knowing God by exploring His word and engaging in creative spiritual practices. She wants everyone to find ways to be on mission with God. Melissa is also a photographer and loves exploring new places, playing tennis, and reading.
