The Gospel of Luke

The Story That Shapes Us

The Gospel of Luke captures the greatest story ever lived. Luke is also the author of the book of Acts and he writes these two historical documents in order to provide detailed, carefully investigated, eyewitness testimony of the life of Jesus of Nazareth. In Luke’s day, there were many voices and much confusion around this person of Jesus and the implications of his life and ministry. The early church was just emerging at the time of his writing and Luke wants to tell the story in such a way that his readers can trust the details and the history. He had done the investigative work in order to produce a reliable testimony. We too find ourselves in a place and time when people are confused about who Jesus is and how His life and ministry affect our own lives today. Join us in the unfolding drama as demons are cast out, lepers are healed, heads roll, the lost are found, tables are turned, and a revolution begins!
